Herringbone / Parquet Solid Wood Flooring

Parquet floors are made up of multiple wood blocks arranged into a pattern - these patterns range from herringbone to chevron to versailles and others, but our solid wood parquet floors are more often herringbone - the most popular of the patterns.

These floors are some of the most sought after on the market, and are common throughout Europe, particularly in older and luxurious homes. Parquet was popular in the 17th century onwards, meaning any home that uses such floors will similarly be associated with the elegance and luxury that it was associated with back then. They also help create a vintage look that is growing in popularity as the vintage trend continues.

A number of species are available in this style, from oak to merbau, in a variety of shades, finishes, and plank widths. There are also double or triple herringbone patterns available, so look out for these on our site for something a bit different.

Parquet floors may cost more than other varieties due to the fitting process taking longer and being more complex, particularly with complicated patterns. It will be worth it however for the timeless style and luxury in your home for years to come.
